I guess there’s some stuff you should know.  For one, those ears aren’t real.  I know, MS Paint is amazing.

Second, I like to cook.  No.  I love to cook.  All kinds of stuff.  Okay, not quite.  I’m a vegetarian (“Oooh, that’s why she’s a rabbit…”  Yeah, kinda).  I like to cook vegetarian stuff.  Like garbanzos with charred grape tomatoes and avocado.^  Over pastaaah…

And I have a disturbing passion for fruit and vegetables.  I tend to eat salad for breakfast.  Y’know, like a rabbit…  It’s weird.  (“Ah.  That’s interesting…”  Yes, it is.)

I like things that are green.  And orange.  And deep hues of red.

I love spices and herbs and aromas.  I like intense flavors.  And putting black pepper on my ice cream.  Mixing chipotle hot sauce with peanut butter and tomato.  Or green tea in my hummus.  People call me odd, but I know they mean genius.

Speaking of which… I’m pretty savvy with the world of food.  I can give you some thoughts on how to improve the way you feel, health-wise.  Or what the deal is with gluten and other food allergies.  I can tell you about foreign foods and culture.  Need some ideas for a an unfamiliar ingredient?  Done.  Of course, I can also tell you about the industry and why it SUCKS.  (“Is that the guru part?”  Yes.)

Animals are another one of my obsessions.  I ritually look at Lolcats and Cute Overload.  I live with a dog and a cat.  The cat’s kind of a jerk.

I have one of these as well.  It’s… special.

Tea, coffee, chocolate.  Yeah, I like those too.  LIKE  A FIEND.

Last, but not least.  I’m an alcoholic.  (Not really.)  I adore wine and beer (like a FIEND).  I favor deep, velvety reds, and I’m kind of a Stella girl, but I’ll try any grape or grain.  And if you like booze too, keep yourself updated with me and my partner at the Drunken Doughnut.  Or just read my blog when you’re getting drunk.  That’s always fun.

Obviously, I don’t take myself too seriously, but I’m crazy about what I do.  I know much of the ins and outs with food, health, and the industry.  I bake and cook, and can provide special orders, small-scale catering, lessons, or just a little wisdom.  I don’t have a fancy degree or certificate, just a whole lot of well-researched, self-taught experience.

And in general, I like to make myself seem bigger than I really am…
